First, we rode the ferry to Seattle. See the city in the distance?
I am holding Her Royal Shyness. That’s her brother’s arm.
Seattle seagull snatching snack.
Taking photographs on the Space Needle.
Posing by the 1,000 year old twin Douglas firs on Mt. Rainier.
This concludes our whirlwind tour of Summer Vacation 2006 (with apologies to those on dial-up internet connections.)

Oh, my. That lake-jumping picture is just the very coolest. I’m green with envy. What a memorable vacation you did for your kids!

Thank you, thank you for the pictures! Anything PNW fills my heart with joy. I miss the mountains more than I can express. Did you know Florida is the flattest state in the union?? Pancake! It’s true…..

How awesome, last time I visited thoes places I was a senior in high school. At the time I lived in Phx and Mom and I took a “Senior trip”. Started in Oregon, and drove down the coast of California. It was soooo awesome, my Grandma and Aunt joined us in SF. =)) Great memories.
And yep Florida is really flat. Maybe all the hurricane winds have smoothed us out. Growing up in AZ I do miss the mountains though.
Have a great week.

WOW. It appears you guys had an awesome, awesome vacation — right in your own back yard and home state. Washington is BEAUTIFUL. WOW. I forgot how lovely. Those twin fir trees — just W.O.W.

Very pretty pictures!
I agree that you need to update your Clubmom picture…or maybe add a new one below it.
I never got a chance to comment on the blog post (here, there, I don’t remember?) regarding people taking notice of your change in size. I felt the same way when I lost about 20lbs a little over a year ago. I was thrilled when the first person noticed, but after that it just got weird and I would wonder if the commenter was thinking, “It’s about time!”
