Today? I wanted to see a movie, but the timing was off, so I cleaned up the kitchen, collected all the wads of gift wrap from the floor and wrote all the thank-you cards instead.
It’s official.
I’m a grown-up. It’s a dirty job, but somebody’s got to do it.

That is very impressive. I thought we were supposed to rest the day after Christmas? I’ll be lucky if I get my thankyou cards out prior to the postal rate increasing!

Being a grown up sucks. That’s why I try to do it as little as possible.
(although I’m truly more responsible and boring than I’d like to admit!) 🙂

Oooh, girl, I have had exactly that same thought… as I’m picking up whatever crap was left lying around and thinking, I know I’m a mom because nobody else in this house cares that this is getting done…
