Where does the time go? Why do I post so infrequently for the non-existent readers of this blog? Will spring ever arrive?
These are questions I ponder at 2:17 a.m. Also: Why am I awake?
Well. I’m awake because I just finished working a little while ago.
My husband was in town from Thursday until today. He flew back to San Diego tonight and I daresay he wasn’t too sad to be leaving our forty-degree rainy weather.
He came to help celebrate our son’s thirteenth birthday, which we did by taking the whole family out to dinner at Famous Dave’s and then surprising our new teenagers with his very own cell phone. Which is awesome because now instead of tromping downstairs to tell him things, I can just text him.
I love technology.
We also had two snow days last week–one was a 2 hour delay and one was a cancellation. The snow is disappearing thanks to rising temperatures and heavy rain. Good riddance. I’m itching to finish pressure-washing my patio.
I watched the entire Academy Awards telecast tonight. For once, I’d seen every single movie nominated for Best Picture. I enjoyed the whole thing, though I admit to downloaded a book to my Kindle and sort of reading while barely listening to the boring parts.
And now, I’m going to bed. Morning will arrive way too early.

hey…..I exist! I watched the entire show as well, but have only seen Toy Story and 127 Hours. I have the rest on my list to go see.

Were you happy enough with who won what? I wasn’t all that taken with Social Network which seemed to be a fave, so I was happy that Speech won it.

We just got Noah a cell phone- I love the texting part, too. I like to check up on things here at home when daddy is in charge…

We had far more blather about the possibility of snow than actual snowfall. We got 3/4 of an inch in the greater metro area here and it pretty much paralyzed the city. I’m wondering when we’ll ever figure out how to handle snow, the way our neighbors to the east do.

Nor am I a non-existent reader of your blogs. Rather, I check almost every day to see whether you have stayed up past your bedtime to blog just for my late-night enjoyment (and entertainment).
Know you are sleep deprived and busy, but do know I enjoy reading your words. Keep up the good work.

I’ve always sort of believed I was non-existent. Thank you for confirming that.
The only movie I saw was The King’s Speech which of course made me want it to win everything. So I stayed up to watch it win the two biggies, and now I’ve been tired all week.
Although that is only if I do actually exist. Which is iffy at best.
