My Fairy Blogmother (the one who got me started in this whole blog-thing) tagged me to do a meme and how can I resist when it comes from her?  So, Brandie, this is for you!

I’m supposed to list six weird things.  I believe I’ve done this before, but off the top of my head, here are six weird things about me that you might not know.

1)  I have a huge head.  Hats never fit me.

2)  Hearing silverware click on teeth drives me insane.  God gave us lips and tongues for a reason–to stop the tooth-silverware click!

3)  I hate playing board games, with the possible exception of Blokus which has been fun both times I’ve played, even though I’ve lost.  I also like Cranium played with adults.  Perhaps the truth is that I just hate playing board games with kids.

4)  I don’t listen to music much and can’t imagine why I’d ever need an iPod.  Yet, I love music–I play the piano, I sing.  I just can’t stand competing noises and in my house, there’s too much noise to appreciate music.

5)  I go to movies alone.  In fact, I prefer going alone.

6)  I’d rather shop in a thrift store than a department store.

  1. 4) You must find the wonderful world of podcasts. My iPod used to sit and collect dust until I found them. Start with http://www.pediacast.org (my dh’s podcast–shameless plug) 🙂

    5) from what I’ve read you’d prefer to see a movie COMPLETELY alone i.e. not a single other soul in the theater to bother you! ME TOO!! Let’s hear it for private showings. 🙂

  2. I have a huge head too! No one ever believes me, saying my head looks normal – which is good, lol. But visors or my husband’s caps always have to be adjusted before I can wear them.

  3. Oh my I couldn’t live without my IPOD. I spend endless our listening to podcast regarding my profession, however, at times my co-workers find it rather disturbing when I’m listening to music and working on a project, while they’re trying to communicate with me. (but they get over it)

    Music is what makes me efficient. 🙂

  4. Silverware clicking on teeth MAKE ME CRAZY! I hate it. I also go to the movies alone and actually really enjoy it that way, too. Both my husband and I have big noggins. There is no hope for any of my children. We can hardly ever find hats that fit any of us.:)
