VERY cute! And my mom always used to tell me “you’re not made of sugar, you won’t melt!” when it rained, so reading that today made me think of her 🙂
Having grown up near the Olympic Rain Forest it seems like it rained 300 days out of the year. Growing up there, we kids didn’t know any other weather existed, ha! We’d put on our rain coats and boots and go sail little plastic boats down the street gutters. It’s amazing how you adapt to what you have as far as climate is concerned. My mom grew up in New England and HATED life on the Harbor…at least here in the Portland/Vancouver area it still rains but it’s not quite THAT much. I could easily live in the desert, tho…I’m a sunshine and heat gal.
