Yesterday, my daughter got a new dolly (because she only has a dozen dollies, maybe more, so deprived and all, but lucky for her, a church lady donated this really lovely and lifelike doll to my poor little girl’s cause).
So, I said to my daughter, “What is the dolly’s name?”
“Mrs. Zippy,” she replied.
“Mrs. Zippy?” I asked, confused.
“Yes, Mississ-ippi!” she said. I laughed and she said, “Just kidding!”

I’m not sure how old your little moppet is but our daughter got a red Clifford stuffed dog for a Christmas present when she was 4, I think it was. We asked her what she was going to name him and she said “Fremont” — and she wasn’t kidding, lol! We also asked her what her favorite color was at the same age and does she pick pink or red or blue? Nope, not our Kaiti…she chirped up with “Periwinkle!” Obviously, things like that you’ll never forget…that was almost 26 years ago when she came up with these and we still chuckle over them.

That is soooo cute! Hee-hee. Remember Megan? She comes up with some real winners. Hmmmm… I should try to jot those down for future blog notes! Children, the fodder of our imagination.

She is funny. What is even better, is she was trying to be funny.
